      Probably the experiment we did with dementia patients, we worked out that for them the parts of the brain that process seeing and hearing actually start to work out of sync, whereas with normal people they worked exactly at the same time. The MRI scan looked pretty cool because you could see the parts of the brain that were active overlapping, but you could see they happened at different points in time.

      I don’t have a favourite experiment, but one of my best experiences during my Chemistry ALevel was being allowed to make out own pipettes, we had to heat up glass tubes and then stretch them so they formed a point. It was pretty exciting to make the equipment that we were going to use.
