Hi Starryeyedenid – I watched it a long time ago so I looked it up again and I definitely want to watch it again!

It raises some interesting ethical questions around what makes us human and who should have rights.

Another good science film is Gattaca it’s about your life being predetermined by your genes, the name is based on the DNA nitrogenous bases: guanine, adenine, thymine, and cytosine.

      Hi starry!

Sorry you missed it! Yes I have indeed and I also wrote that I love Ewan McGregor 😉 I think it’s a fascinating idea that people can be grown outside of the womb although it is unlikely. Dolly the sheep, the first cloned animal it the world, was a clone but was grown inside the womb, she had just been made artificially beforehand!

Susie is right Gattaca is a really good film to watch, but you might also look into watching and also Blade Runner is a sci-fi movie about the future where clones are getting better and better at pretending to be human and might just take over! It’s an old film but it’s a classic, I love it 🙂
