      Hi tegan and claire!

An adrenaline rush is a natural part of the body’s operations. Way back when we were just cavemen and not too bright we needed good automatic responses from the body when we might be in danger, for example. So our brains are equipped with something called the fight or flight response, this means that in a situation where we might be afraid or in danger we either want to defend ourselves or run away – this is where things like adrenaline come in, they ready the body for action in case we need to do something! This can help you in a situation where something might be falling from above and you need to run away, or even when you might be sky-diving which is risky but exciting, because of the adrenaline rush!

      Jen
