• Question: If you accidently set your hair on fire with a bunsen burner how long does it take to grow back?

      I couldn’t answer this fully but from my own experience of burning my own eyelashes off (similar freak cooker-top accident – don’t laugh! 😉 ) everybody’s hair grows at different rates, it’s another one of those quirky things decided by our biological makeup. Your hair and nails grow back at different rates, but I think hair generally is between a half inch and an inch a month.

      I’ve not set my hair on fire but I have accidentally lost some of my eyebrows to a bunsen burner in school. Not a very nice experience! They took a couple of months to grow back properly.

      I think it would depend if you damaged the skin where the hair grows from, or if you just singed the end off. either way I wouldn’t recommend it, the smell of burning hair isn’t very nice!
