      Hi murder zombie!

The brain generates electricity at a very small level but lots and lots of times, each neuron communicates with the next using a tiny charge, but since there are billions of connections between neurons in the brain this creates a lot of electricity! The whole of the brain is constantly chatting away to other parts of the brain and the body, so it is always electrically active. When we use one particular part of our brain it increases in electrical activi, but otherwise there is always elecixal activity in the brain – this only stops when the brain dies.
