  Mine’s always been Arcanine, although I’ve not played Pokémon in a long time (used to play Pokémon Yellow through an emulator while waiting for my code to compile last year)

  hah you can tell James likes it because he’s put the accent on the e in Pokémon! I have to confess I didn’t watch it that much so i’ve had to resort to asking my bf what his favourite one is, (as he still watches it now and he’s 26!)…so drum roll please…..his favourite one is….. Mewtwo as he is telepathic and was originally the strongest pokemon. I’ve had a quick search on wikipedia and i’m not so sure that I like him, especially as it says he is 6 foot 7 inches tall which is quite a bit taller than me, I don’t think i’d want to meet him in real life!

  As it happens my dog’s nickname is Pikachu, mainly because his real name is Pico and he gets called all manner of variations on this. So I guess I have to say Pikachu, even though I have no idea what the rest of Pokemon is all about.
