      Hi prisacilla

Actually memory is really what we think about when we talk about learning. Learning about something involves hearing or seeing it, thinking about it, rehearsing it and then remembering it – so really learning is memory. We do also have memories without learning something specific, like remembering a place or time or someone in particular, and these are useful facts about our world that help us live in it (like remembering where we live, when we need to be somewhere or someone we need to talk to).
