      Hi Jimmy

Did you mean the brain? If so, the brain uses energy in the same way that the cells in the rest of your body use energy. We eat and drink and the food moves down into our stomach where it is absorbed through the digestive system into the blood, all of the nutrients move around the body feeding cells and making sure all of our limbs and nerves have enough energy. Part of this nutrients, about 20%, is used up by the brain. Where the brain cells or neurons take the nutrients from the blood in order to work and live. We need to eat enough every day to keep our body healthy but also our brain, without food the brain wouldn’t survive! There are also foods called brain foods, like omega oils you find in some fish, that science has found can help our brain function. This is special food that’s good for your brain!
