      Hi,

Yeah, I really enjoy being a scientist. I’ve always pestered people with questions and being a scientist is a great way to answer all of your own questions. I’ve always been interested in the body and the brain and I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A level which set me up nicely for a career in science. I then went on to study Biomedical science at uni which was all about the different diseases that humans can get. During this degree I got more interested in the brain so I did a Masters degree in Neuroscience and did a big project in memory and now I’m a PhD working full time on trying to help people’s memory who have Alzheimer’s disease.

I love being a scientist! I love asking questions nobody has ever asked before and even thinking of those questions is pretty exciting! Looking at pictures of the brain and hearing people talk about the body as a whole and how this and the brain made us human really appealed to me when I was a student, I’m glad I followed through to become a scientist!
