• Question: do all germs/bugs lay eggs

      Well ‘germs’ and ‘bugs’ are very different things and actually germs includes a whole load of different types of organism. The simple answer is that bugs do lay eggs, because they’re a type of insect, technically called Hemiptera: http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/. They include things like aphids and pond skaters and yes they lay eggs. Most people would assume you mean bacteria and viruses when you say ‘germs’. They reproduce in very different ways (lots of bacteria divide in half for example), but none of them lays anything that you would call an egg (at least as far as I remember from my undergraduate degree).
